Aartist A's site

This is the Aartist A's site and although we are still waiting for some more additions in the shop as well as for the domain to settle in, the site is just about finished. As for the Fashion A magazine we are on track with that as well and the May issue, the very first one, will contain about 100 pages of fashion photographs, style tips, budget tips, LGBT news, fashion news, makeup tips and a whole lot more. One of the things we will have in each issue is a lot of interviews with people we feel have gone the extra mile to express themselves and who they are through fashion and style and we want to salute them. They will tell you and show you how they did it and how you can do it too. You don't want to miss that I am sure.

A few days ago we contacted the non-profit organization Wipeout Transphobia to discuss a possible collaboration with them and we here at Aartist A truly hope they will accept so that we together can take action and make all of this silly "phobias" go away for good. It is so sad and infuriating to read on a daily basis about more beautiful young people with their lives ahead of them who have been beaten to death or have been bullied long enough for them to see no other solution but suicide. We want to change that and we must change that. Lives depend on it.

The main idea behind all of these projects is to through creativity and artistry make a change in this world so that the young ones growing up will have a safer place to grow up in. Personally I am terrified of letting my future children grow up in this world where one is punished for being the least bit different. We are all one of a kind, some more unique, but we are all worth the same and it is troubling to say the least that we all can't see that. Instead people say they are one with justice and they're doing what's right when they are really doing evil but hiding behind god, religion or some other belief that they think justifies their means. I am sick and tired of that and I will not rest until I see a difference for the better in this world we live in. We are not born evil so there is hope for us yet. It is our duty as human beings to correct the wrongs in society and change society into something much more open and free where we can all be ourselves and celebrate our differences and embrace how we are alike. Sounds kind of corny, perhaps, but it is an ideal and we here at Aartist A will strive to make it real.

Stay tuned!
